Information about the site
A great macro dive site, it starts with a sandy slope reminiscent of muck dives. Hidden in the side are a wide variety of weird and wonderful critters. The site gets its name after all the old car tires that were placed here to create an artificial reef. They are now covered in hard corals and sponges and hold a plethora of marine life.
Common sightings here include frog fish, squid, cuttlefish, nubibranches, shrimps, scorpion fish, moray eels and crabs. This site makes for an amazing night dive.
